Empower your digital safety and stay safe
Cyber Security
Protect. Defend. Secure. Your Digital Fortress.
About Us
ITsec4RI stands for the association of IT security officers from the four research institutes in the ETH Domain, who use their knowledge and experience to make the digital world of research institutes more secure and to support you in all cyber security issues.
Mission
Our mission is to increase cyber security in the four research institutes: implement best practices, raise awareness of cyber risks and ensure a safe digital environment for all.
About Us
We are the association of IT security officers from the research institutes in the ETH Domain, committed to making the digital world of research institutes more secure. With our extensive knowledge and experience, we accompany you on your way to making the digital world more secure.
We work closely together within the ETH Domain to implement and ensure appropriate security measures. We encourage open communication and take employees' safety concerns seriously.
We monitor the security situation, analyze risks and take appropriate measures to detect, prevent and respond to threats. In the event of a security incident, we coordinate an effective incident response.
Mission
Our goal is to raise awareness of cyber security within the research institutes of the ETH Domain and to equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to proactively counter the rapidly increasing cyber threats. We achieve this through the use of effective e-learning modules and targeted phishing campaigns.
By providing information about the latest threats and precautionary measures, we enable our employees to recognize potential attacks, react to them appropriately and thus prevent them . Our focus is on creating a climate of trust and open communication in which employees feel safe and work together to strengthen our security measures.
Through eLearning platforms, we offer interactive training modules that enable employees to continuously expand their knowledge and adapt to the changing dangers in the digital world. The training includes simulations of realistic attack scenarios to provide hands-on experience in dealing with potential threats.
In addition, we use targeted phishing campaigns to raise awareness of attack techniques and to sensitize employees to suspicious emails, links and attachments. We do not collect any personal data or sanction employees, but use these campaigns as a tool to learn from mistakes together and to strengthen resilience to phishing attacks.
Our goal is to establish a security culture in which cyber security is an integral part of the daily activities of all employees. By creating awareness, we not only protect the research institutes of the ETH Domain, but also our partners from research, industry and the public sector from the increasing dangers of the digital world.
